CEO and Founder

For over 15 years, Bjørn has been developing and scaling a powerful marketing and payment platform, now serving over 100+ B2B and B2C customers across 11 markets. Recognizing its potential to transform commerce, he co-founded Mayanor to bring this technology to businesses seeking sustainable growth and customer loyalty.

Niklas Lind

Chief Operations Officer

Niklas is a commercial leader with over 20 years scaling high-growth companies across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He held senior roles at Telenor and WOM Chile, leading digital transformation, product development, and strategic growth in competitive markets. He joined Mayanor as an advisor and investor supporting Olanzo's rollout, and today leads operations across both Mayanor and Olanzo.

Christopher Laska

Chairman of the Board and Co-founder

Christopher is a seasoned executive with a track record of driving business success in telecommunications and fintech. As the former CEO of WOM Chile and executive roles in Telenor, he has led major growth initiatives in highly competitive markets. At Mayanor, he guides the company’s strategic direction, leveraging his experience to expand its impact globally.

Michelle Ayala

Public Relations Advisor

Michelle Ayala is a public relations advisor with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations build reputation, increase visibility, and strengthen stakeholder trust. She specializes in media relations, executive positioning, thought leadership, and strategic storytelling. At Mayanor, she advises on public relations and external visibility, helping communicate the company's vision, elevate its leadership profile, and reinforce its position as an innovator in fintech and digital payments.

Jose Zamora

Chief Legal & Compliance Officer

José Miguel Zamora Barquero is Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Mayanor Ventures, leading regulatory compliance and legal strategy across its global operations, with a focus on Costa Rica and Latin America. A member of the Costa Rican Bar and honors graduate of the University of Costa Rica, he has practiced since 2013, specializing in banking and securities regulation for fintech and crypto, corporate law, M&A, and venture capital. He is President of the Fintech Association of Costa Rica and a founder and board member of the Blockchain Association of Costa Rica.
